Frequently asked questions

what is the estimated time of publishing?

Everyone is in a different stage of their journey and everyone’s journey is unique. Therefore a publishing date/deadline will be decided between the contributor and PW together based on the contributor’s needs and comfortability. Each contributor will have a first and final draft deadline, in addition to the date of publish. It will be discussed if there is a need for a second draft deadline as well. PageWorthy follows a posting schedule of 1-2 journal entries per month. This will be kept in mind when concluding the expected date of publish.

Is their an option to publish anonymously?

Yes, if you wish to publish your work anonymously in the community journal PageWorthy will honor your wish.

What is the policy for deadlines?

PageWorthy expects for each deadline to be made on time. However, this overall experience should not be stressful. We want this process to feel good and we want to allow you the time you need to truly tap into yourself. Creativity rarely can be contained or restricted. We also understand that life happens. However, in order to expand and execute, boundaries are required. That being said, we are open to extending or rearranging deadline with some exceptions. An extension of a deadline can be arranged for up to one time for both the first and final drafts. has up to 1 time it can be changed. In which was an extension is required again, both PW and the contributor will meet to reassess how to move forward and discover the best solution.

The best thing to keep in mind is that this is a collaboration. You get in what you put in. This experience can be whatever YOU make it and YOU want it to be. As long as you are open, committed, willing, and wanting to share your truth then please do not be alarmed or stressed by deadlines and publishing. Do not let these deter you from speaking your truth if it is something you truly want to do. We will work with you the best we can as long as you choose to show up for yourself in the most supportive ways and hold yourself accountable.

Do you receive support + guidance in the contribution process?

Guidance and support is granted to anyone who chooses to go on the journey of sharing their story and speaking their truth. You shouldn’t have to go through this journey alone. That being said PageWorthy will always be available to assist with any stage of your process no matter what Contributing Class you have chosen to contribute under. We care about the details just as much as you do. Whether it is a decision about a comma, word, paragraph or images to support your story…we’re always here to provide supportive and insightful feedback.

What is the review process before publishing?

Your truth and your voice is what’s most important. Each page will go through a standard grammatical review before being published on the site. We will edit and check for spelling and sentence structure. However, the review process is always met with the assurance your internal voice is shining through the page.
